You didn’t install a pool to spend your weekends testing pH levels and vacuuming debris. You wanted a place where your family could cool off after a long day, where friends could gather on Saturday afternoons, where you could actually relax.
That’s what regular pool cleaning service gets you. Water that’s balanced, safe, and ready whenever you are. Equipment that runs right because someone’s actually checking it. A backyard you’re proud to show off instead of making excuses for.
Georgia’s heat and humidity create the perfect storm for algae growth, especially around Sapps Still where temperatures stay high well into fall. Miss a week of maintenance and you’re looking at green water and a much bigger problem. Stay on top of it and your pool becomes what it was supposed to be—an asset, not a headache.
We’ve been taking care of pools in Douglas County for over 30 years. We’re licensed, insured with over three million dollars in liability coverage, and certified by the National Swimming Pool Foundation and Association of Pool and Spa Professionals.
We’re not a franchise or a national chain. We’re local to Sapps Still and the surrounding area, which means we understand how Coffee County’s clay soil affects your pool’s chemistry and what the summer storms do to your water balance. We’ve seen every pool problem this region throws at homeowners.
Our technicians hold CPO and CST certifications because pool chemistry isn’t guesswork. It’s science, and when it’s done right, you get water that’s safe for your kids and easy on your equipment.
We show up on the same day each week, so you know when to expect us. First thing we do is test your water—not with strips, but with professional-grade testing that measures pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and stabilizer levels.
Based on those readings, we balance your chemicals. We’re buying in bulk and we know exactly what your pool needs, which usually saves you money compared to buying retail and guessing. We also skim the surface, vacuum the bottom, brush the walls and tile line, empty your skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash or clean your filter as needed.
Then we check your equipment. Pump running smooth? Filter pressure where it should be? Any leaks or unusual sounds? We catch small problems before they become expensive ones. Before we leave, we’ll let you know if anything needs attention and give you a realistic timeline and cost—no surprises, no upselling stuff you don’t need.

Every visit covers the full scope of what your pool needs to stay healthy. That means water testing and chemical balancing, surface skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and equipment inspection. We’re not just making your pool look clean—we’re making sure the water chemistry is dialed in so you’re not dealing with skin irritation, cloudy water, or equipment corrosion.
Georgia pools face unique challenges. The extended warm season around Sapps Still means your pool needs attention nearly year-round, not just summer. High temperatures accelerate chlorine loss. Heavy rains dilute your chemicals and throw off your balance. Pollen season coats everything in a yellow film that clogs filters fast.
We adjust our service based on what your pool actually needs, not what’s on a corporate checklist. Saltwater systems get different attention than traditional chlorine pools. Older equipment gets monitored more closely. If you’ve got trees dropping leaves into your pool, we’re spending extra time on debris removal. The goal is simple: you should be able to walk outside any day of the week and jump in without wondering if the water’s safe or clean.
Most residential pools in the Sapps Still area need weekly service to stay properly maintained. That’s not us trying to sell you more visits—it’s what Georgia’s climate demands.
Between the heat, humidity, afternoon storms, and the amount of pollen we get, a lot happens to your pool in seven days. Chlorine depletes faster in high temperatures. Algae spores are constantly entering your water. Your filter is catching debris nonstop. If you wait two weeks between services, you’re often playing catch-up instead of staying ahead.
Some pool owners with covered pools or very low usage can stretch to bi-weekly service during cooler months. But if your pool gets regular use, sits in full sun, or you’ve got landscaping nearby, weekly maintenance keeps you out of trouble. It’s the difference between small adjustments each week and major corrections every month.
Buying chemicals is the easy part. Knowing which ones to use, how much, and when—that’s where most pool owners run into problems.
Your pool’s chemistry is a balancing act. Add too much chlorine and you’re irritating skin and eyes. Too little and you’re growing algae. Your pH affects how well your chlorine works. Your alkalinity affects your pH. Your calcium levels affect your plaster or liner. Everything’s connected, and the test strips you buy at the store don’t give you the full picture.
Professional pool cleaning service means someone with training and calibrated equipment is testing your water accurately and making precise adjustments. We’re also catching equipment issues early, cleaning areas you might miss, and buying chemicals in bulk at better prices than retail. Most of our customers find they’re saving money overall when they factor in their time, the cost of fixing mistakes, and the longer equipment life they get from proper maintenance.
We service pools year-round because Georgia pools need year-round attention. You’re not dealing with a northern climate where everything freezes and shuts down for months.
Even in January, you’ve got algae spores in the air and debris falling into your pool. Your equipment is still running, your chemicals are still depleting, and your water still needs to be balanced. If you let maintenance slide during the off-season, you’re setting yourself up for a green swamp when warm weather returns.
Our winter service looks a bit different than summer—we’re not vacuuming as often if nobody’s swimming, and chemical demand drops when water temperature falls. But we’re still testing, balancing, and checking equipment every week or every other week depending on your pool’s needs. It’s a lot easier to maintain a pool than to recover one that’s been neglected for three months.
Most equipment problems give you warning signs before they completely fail. Your pump might start making a grinding noise or running louder than usual. Your filter pressure might climb higher than normal. You might notice reduced water flow or returns that aren’t pushing water like they used to.
The problem is, if you’re not checking these things regularly, you miss the early warnings. By the time you notice something’s wrong, you’re often looking at a bigger repair bill or equipment that’s already damaged.
That’s part of what we’re doing during weekly pool maintenance—we’re monitoring your equipment performance. We know what your normal filter pressure should be. We can hear when your pump bearing is starting to wear out. We notice if your chlorinator isn’t producing like it should. Catching these issues early usually means a simple repair instead of a full replacement. We’ll always give you a heads-up if something needs attention and let you know whether it’s urgent or something you can plan for down the road.
You don’t need to be home. Most of our customers aren’t there during their scheduled service day, and that’s completely fine.
We’ll access your pool equipment and do everything that needs to be done. If we find something that needs your attention—a repair, an equipment issue, or anything unusual—we’ll call or text you with details and photos if needed. We’re not going to just leave a vague note saying “call us.”
You’ll know we were there because your pool will be clean and your equipment area will be left neat. If you ever want to be there to ask questions or discuss something specific, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll make sure to catch you. But the whole point of hiring a pool cleaning service is that your pool gets taken care of whether you’re home, at work, or on vacation.
Yes. Green pools and cloudy water are fixable, but they take more than a standard cleaning to correct.
If your pool’s already got an algae bloom or the water’s turned swamp-like, you’re looking at a shock treatment and probably some intensive filtering and brushing over several days. We’ll test your water, figure out what went wrong chemically, and map out exactly what it’ll take to get you back to clear.
Sometimes the issue isn’t just chemicals—it might be a failing filter, a pump that’s not circulating properly, or a chlorinator that stopped working. We’ll diagnose the root cause so you’re not just treating symptoms. Once we’ve got your pool recovered, we’ll set you up on regular weekly maintenance so it doesn’t happen again. Most pool problems are way easier to prevent than fix, which is why consistent service matters.
